Game Highlights: In a semi-final game the Mets rallied to beat the Dodgers by a score of 7-4. The Dodgers jumped out to a 3-0 lead after a bases loaded double by Kyle Chismar. In the next 3 innings Mets' pitchers Bryce Hegedus and Tommy Kingerski held the Dodgers. They were helped out by teammate Devin Burkhardt with a great defensive catch at 3rd. The Mets then added 2 in the 3rd to tie the game. but the Dodgers' Tyler Barry scored in the top of the 5th to go ahead by 1. The Mets came back with 4 in the 5th with a triple by Hegedus and doubles by Kingerski, Nick Zona, and Evan Kline. Zona held the Dodgers in the 6th to secure the victory.

Game Highlights: In a game that will go down as a PAL classic, the Toona Auto Paint Orioles defeated the Rays by a score of 14-13 to win the Pinto Championship. The game was a back and forth contest that was not decided until the final at bat. The Rays started off the scoring in the first inning with Tanner Queen scoring on a single by Tyler Hutsko. The Orioles could not muster any runs in the bottom of the inning. After holding the Rays scoreless in the top of the 2nd inning, the Orioles struck for 3 runs in the bottom of the inning. Caleb Todd, Lucca Baccari and Ryan Scavnicky had run scoring singles for the Orioles. The Rays bounced back in the top of the 3rd inning with 4 runs. Sam Choby, Mike Ward, Tanner Queen and Brian Woods scored for the Rays. The Orioles plated 3 runs in the bottom half of the inning with back to back hits by Justin Turcovski, Ronnie Kachman and Logan Divald, Joseph Andelmo and Dom Palmieri. The Rays came right back with 4 more runs in the top of the 4th inning with Blake Stoffel, Sam Choby, Tanner Queen and Brian Woods scoring on hits by Tyler Hutsko, Jonathon Lamanti and Issiah Dittig. The Orioles came back in the bottom of the inning with 5 runs to go back ahead. They had 6 consecutive hits by Lucca Baccari, Ryan Scavnicky, Vincent Babeo, Justin Turcovski, Ronnie Kachman and Logan Divald. The Rays came back again with 3 runs in the 5th inning with big hits by Connor McCutcheon, Blake Stoffel, Sam Choby and Brian Woods. The Orioles were able to score 1 run in the bottom of the inning to tie the game. Jake Cardiff scored on a single by Caleb Todd. Isaiah Dittig led off the top of the 6th inning with a double and scored on a two out single by Blake Stoffel. Ronnie Kachman and Ryan Scavnicky teamed up on a nice play on a force out at second base to avoid any further scoring by the Rays. Being down 1 run in the bottom of the 6 inning, the first two batters lined out to Jonathan Lamanti. Justin Turcovski singled, and then scored to tie the game on a double by Ronnie Kachman. After an infield hit by Logan Divald, Tanner Babeo hit a single inside the 3rd base bag to score Kachman with the winning run. Congratulations to the coaches and players on both teams for an entertaining and great game.

Game Highlights: In Pinto semifinal playoff action, the Toona Auto Paint Orioles defeated the Red Sox by a score of 16-6. The Red Sox jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning when Evan Kline socked a 2 run homer off the concession trailer in left field. The Orioles came right back in the bottom of the first with 5 runs of their own powered by consecutive doubles by Justin Turcovski and Ronnie Kachman. The Red Sox closed the gap with 2 runs in the top of the third inning with run scoring hits by Gavin Wagner, Cam Masten and Evan Kline. The Orioles came right back with 5 runs in the bottom of the inning powered by Logan Divald, Tanner Babeo and Jake Cardiff. The Orioles put the game away in the 4th inning with hits by Lucca Baccari, Ryan Scavnicky and Vincent Babeo. The big hit of the inning was Ronnie Kachman's 3 run home run over the left center field fence. The Red Sox continued to battle with hits by Brady Hegedus and Grant Snyder but it was not enough to over take the Orioles.

Game Highlights: The Irwin Moose Sand Gnats won the PAL Intermediate Slow Pitch Championship with a convincing win over the Scalise Chiropractic Knights Monday night. For the Champion Gnats, Lexi Kendro was 2 for 3, Briana Clemens was 2 for 3 with a double, Sammi Wexell was 2 for 3 with triple, Marie Mosa was 2 for 3; Nichole Bodnar and Miranda Kemper were leaders in the field, with the Gnats' Game Ball going to the entire team for their outstanding defensive play against a great hitting Knights team. The Knights closed out a great season with strong performances by Lexi going 2 for 2, Talley 2 for 3, Rebbecca 2 for 3 with a double, and Skylar 2 for 2.

Game Highlights: The Sand Gnats moved on to the PAL Intermediate Slow Pitch Softball Championship game with an exciting victory over the Rattlers Friday night. Lexi Kendro was awarded the Game Ball from the Gnats for going 3 for 4 with a triple and an outstanding pitching performance; Brianna Clemens was 2 for 4, Sammi Wexell was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, and Miranda Kemper was 2 for 3. For the Rattlers, Kelly was 3 for 4, Kylie 2 for 2, and Katie had two hits. The Rattler's pitchers combined for 9 Strike outs!

Game Highlights: In Pinto playoff action, the Toona Auto Paint Orioles defeated the Mariners by a score of 22-14. The Orioles jumped out on top of the Mariners with 5 runs in the first inning. The Mariners would not give up and continued to battle by closing the score to 10-7. The Orioles bats were too much though and pulled away in the final 3 innings. There were several hitting stars for the Orioles. Ronnie Kachman, Jake Cardiff, Vincent Babeo and Justin Turcovski each had four hits. Ryan Scavnicky, Joseph Andelmo, Tanner Babeo, Caleb Todd and Dom Palmieri chipped in with 3 hits a piece. For the battling Mariners, Jack Whalen, Ben Daum, Jake Kendro, Brian Vieceli, and Jonathan Columbus each had 3 hits. Jack Whalen, Ben Daum and Jonathan Columbus each scored 3 runs a piece. Jake Kendro made some nice plays in the field to keep the Orioles from scoring more runs.

Game Highlights: It was cut short by runs when the Mets defeated North Braddock in quarter final play by a score of 13-3 in 4 innings of action. Bryce Hegedus and Tommy Kingerski held North Braddock to just 2 hits with 8 strikeouts. The pair also helped out offensively with 2 hits each including a triple by Kingerski. Teammate Hailee Culbertson also added a triple. Two Pinto call-ups, Brady Hegedus and Evan Kline, added to the hits and RBI's column for the Mets.

Game Highlights: In the regular season finale, North Braddock defeated the Irwin Diary Queen Cubs by a score of 17-15. North Braddock pounded out 12 hits in the win. The Cubs did not have any quit in them as they were down 16-7 and battled back but fell short. Derek Turcovski led the hitting attack with 4 hits including a double. Nick Lagnese had 2 hits including a double, Collin Rhodes also had a double and caught a fly ball in the outfield. Evan Kochasic scored 3 runs while Aaron Kuhn and Logan Bricker scored twice for the Cubs.

Visting Team: Westmoreland Pools & Spas - Volcanoes Score: 9

Game Highlights: The Gnats and Volcanoes ended the regular season with a thrilling game. Both team finished 11-1-1, with Volcanoes winning the Regular Season Championship via their previous win over the Gnats. For the Sand Gnats Dannon Johnson received the game ball for going 2 for 3 and good fielding; Lexi Kendro and Sara Russell were both 2 for 4, each with a triple; Marly Skuhrovec, Sammie Wexell, Dannon Johnson, Miranda Kemper, Ciara Supel, and Nichole Bodnar had two hits. For the Volcanoes, Tori Hill received the game ball; Shaelyn was 4 for 4 with a double; Madalyn, Lizzy, and Natalie had 3 hits each; Mia and Emily both had two hits.

Game Highlights: What a thriller at the ball park when the Pirates faced the Mets on 6/15. After 1 inning the Mets were up 3-1. Then with two men on, Pirate AJ Skweres hit an inside the park HR to give the Pirates a 4-3 lead. The score remained the same until the 4th inning when Pinto Division call-up, Brady Hegedus, hit a single allowing Hailee Culbertson to score tying the game at 4. The Mets struck out 6 of 7 batters in the 5th and 6th to hold the Pirates. In the bottom of the 6th the Mets loaded the bases and with a full count and 2 outs Bryce Hegedus took ball 4, walking home the winning run. Offense for the Pirates included a single by Jesse Twele, SkweresÆ HR, and a triple by Tanner Mahofski. Mahofski also had an outstanding diving catch in the outfield. For the Mets, Tommy Kingerski had a triple and Nick Zona had 2 RBIÆs on a long hit sacrifice fly. Mets pitchers Bryce Hegedus, Tommy Kingerski, and Nick Zona held the Pirates to just 3 hits, striking out 17 batters.

Game Highlights: In the regular season finale, the Royals defeated the Toona Auto Paint Orioles by a score of 12-3. The Royals fielding was superb throughout the game and held the Orioles scoreless in 5 of the 6 innings. Tanner Krevokuch and Jack Salopek led the Royals in the field and with the bat. Both made several nice plays in the field as well as had 3 hits a piece. Cullen Shipley also aided the cause with 2 hits. Justin Turcovski led the Orioles with 3 hits, including 2 doubles. Ronnie Kachman, Logan Divlad, Ryan Scavnicky and Jake Cardiff each had a hit for the Orioles but it was not enough to overcome the slick fielding by the Royals.

Game Highlights: The Pirates beat the Brewers by a score of 11-6. For the Pirates, AJ Skweres, Tanner Mahofski, Zach Andzelik, and Caleb Smith each had one hit. Kenny Divens got the game ball for the Pirates for his great hustle and attitude. For the Brewers, Owen Sabol had three hits, Chase Blatzer had an inside the park homerun, and Cameron Schweitzer had a triple.

Game Highlights: The Italian Miners Society River Cats beat the Computer Medix Sand Gnats 13 to 10 on June 13. In the bottom of the fourth Bailey Kovar ,Leah Yoder, and Megan Swick hit three consecutive doubles,followed by a pair of singles from Haley Esasky and Kassidy Web to take a 8 to 6 lead. The Sand Gnats scored two in the fifth off the hot bats of Morgan Pesi, Marrissa Santora, and Kayla Streussing to tie the game. Kovar, Yoder, and Swick hit two more doubles and a single in the sixth to decide the game.

Game Highlights: In Mustang action, the Irwin Diary Queen Cubs defeated the Keepers Self Storage Braves by a score of 10-9. The Cubs jumped out to an early 5-0 lead but the Braves battled back but just fell short. The Cubs were led in pitching by Derek Turcovski and Nick Lagnese who teamed up to pitch 3 scoreless innings. The Cubs hitting attack was led by Johnny Catone who was 3 for 3. Tyler Coltogirone, Zach Diperna and Logan Bricker each chipped in with 2 hits. The Braves were led by Jarid Sabo who had 2 hits and score 2 runs. Jonathan Scavnicky, Chase Zavarella and Mario Croes each scored 2 runs for the Braves.

Game Highlights: The westmoreland Pools & Spas Volcanoes improved their season record to 10 wins and 1 loss by beating the Mars Hill Storage Grasshoppers by a score of 20 to 9. The Volcanoes awarded the game ball to Natalie Durmis for her offensive and defensive play.

Game Highlights: The Braves took on the Mets on 6/12. It was 3-2 Mets after 1 then the Mets added 5 in the 2nd . On defense the Mets pitching of Harry Beck, Hailee Culbertson, Devin Burkhart, and Tommy Kingerski held the Braves to just two runs in the last 5 innings with 10 strike outs. For the Braves, Josh Clingensmith went 3-3 at the plate with 1 RBI and had some great defensive plays in the field. Jonathan Scavnicky added a single and Tyler Queen scored 2 of the Braves 4 runs. The Mets tallied 10 hits. Tommy Kingerski had 2 including a double; Nick Zona had a triple and scored 3 runs; adding singles for the team were Bryce Hegedus, Brendan Gustafero, Beck, Culbertson, and Scotty Kingerski.

Game Highlights: On June 12th, the Toona Auto Paint Orioles defeated the Mariners by a score of 23-9. The Orioles had there hitting shoes on for the game as six palyers had four hits a piece. Those included were Joseph Andelmo, Ronnie Kachman, Dom Palmieri, Justin Turcovski, Jake Cardiff and Logan Divald. Vincent and Tanner Babeo each chipped in with 2 hits a piece. Ryan Scavnicky was the defensive star for the Orioles with several nice plays at second base and pitchers mound. The Mariners were led in hitting by Jonathon Columbus and Jake Kendro who each had 4 hits while Garret Craze and Logan Donnelly chipped in with 2 hits a piece.

Game Highlights: The Italian Miners Society River Cats defeated the Kenny Ross Chevrolet Rockhounds 8 to 1 under the lights on Friday night.The River Cats led by Bailey Kovar(double & three singles) Leah Yoder(double & two singles) Magan Swick(double & two singles)Lily Jarosz(double & a single) and Kassidy Webb(three singles) took a 3 to 1 lead in the first inning and never looked back. Both Haley Esasky and Katie Elliott had two singles for the River Cats. For the Rockhounds Lauren, Danielle, Alayna, Morgan, Gabriella, and Grace all had multiple hits.

Team mate Shawna Steffey hit 2 singles. Playing for "Thunder" were Taylor McAlister who hit a triple, Brittney Coles who hit 2 singles, and Brittany Miller who hit a single.

Game Highlights: After 1 inning it was tied 3-3 when MetsÆ pitchers Devon Burkhardt, Brendan Gustaferro, Tommy Kingerski, and Nick Zona teamed up for 11 strike-outs holding North Braddock to just 5 more runs in 5 innings. The Mets scored 5 runs in the third and added two more in the fifth to close out the game with a 10-8 win. Leading the Mets with 2 hits each were Nick Zona and Brendan Gustaferro including doubles by each; Bryce Hegedus added 2 singles; Harry Beck with a single and Tommy Kingerski with a double.

Game Highlights: The Computer Medix Sand Gnats defeated the Rodgers Funeral Home Raptors by the final score of 15-5. Eva Frankovic continued her hot bat for the Sand Gnats registering a double and three singles. Also, contributing multiple hits for the Sand Gnats were Maraissa Santora and Kayla Streussnig with 3 singles each and Kendra Rabo adding 4 singles. Erika Stein and Jordan Spagnoli had the hot bats for the Raptors recording 2 singles a piece.

Game Highlights: Trailing 4 to 1 in the bottom of the 7th, PAL scored 4 times to defeat Monroeville 5 to 4. Ron Yuko, Scott Horseman and Nate Kremer had 3 straight hits in 7th inning to pull out the win. Scott Horseman, Luke Lacivita had doubles for Pal and Nathan Kremer had 2 hits. Game Highlights: The Irwin Moose Sand Gnats hosted the Thunder on a cool Monday evening with the Gnat's Marlena Skuhrovec going 2 for 2 with a triple and Alyssa Kearns receiving the game ball for a huge 3 RBI single; Samantha Wexell had another strong night on the mound with 7 strike outs and no runs scored through 4 innings. For the Thunder, Lindy Melegari and Addison Morgan both hit safely and scored, Riley Sullebarger had a 2 RBI hit, and Jenna Yurko hit had line drive hit to lead off their 4 run rally in the 5th inning.

Game Highlights: The Pirates won a nail biter in the bottom of the 6th by a score of 6-5. This game had great pitching and defense on both sides. The combined pitching of Tanner Mahofski, Caleb Smith, AJ Skweres, and Matt Schaich combined for 11 strikeouts for the Pirates. The Dodgers pitching staff of Kyle Chismar, Phil Rosso, Jake Smetak, and Gage Luptak also combined for 11 strikeouts. The Pirates offense was lead by AJ Skweres who went 2 for 2 and Caleb Smith who went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs and the game winning single in the bottom of the 6th. Joe Dye got the game ball for the Pirates hitting a nice ball to first base. The Dodgers offense was lead by Phil Rosso and Gage Luptak who each had 2 hits and Jake Smetak who was 3 for 3.

Game Highlights: The Cubs took on the Mets on June 8th. After 1 inning with CubÆs pitcher Dan Coughenour on the mound, the Cubs pulled out to a 3-0 lead. In the 2nd inning the MetsÆ bats came alive with doubles from Bryce Hegedus and Nick Zona, and singles from Harry Beck and Tommy Kingerski. After 3, the Mets were up 10-9 but added 3 more in the 4th and 5th to go up 13-9. Zona and Kingerski teamed up for 9 strike outs in the last three innings to hold off any scoring by the Cubs. Tops on offensive for the Cubs included Johnny Catone with 2 hits including a double, Nick Lagnese with 2 singles, and adding singles were Derek Turcovski and Connor Zimmerman. Zona was 4-4 at the plate including 2 doubles. Kingerksi also had two doubles. Adding to the hit column for the Mets with singles were Hegedus, Brendan Gustaferro, Hailee Culbertson, and ôDiscoö Danny Smrekar. On defense, Cubs 3rd baseman Colin Rhodes stopped a hard hit ball to keep the game close.

Game Highlights: In a very well played game, the Toona Auto Paint Orioles scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to hold off the Tigers by a score of 11-6. Both teams had some excellent fielding by making several nice plays in the field that preventing further runs to score for each team. Defensively, the Hooks were led by Ashley Pesarsick, with three unassisted put-outs at first and third base. The entire Hooks team contributed to the victory with solid hitting up and down the lineup, including Abby Burtnett, Kelsy Levendosky and Jordyn Turcovski. For the Mets, Nick Zona scored three times and nearly smacked a HR as the ball hit the top of the fence. In the top of the 6th, Danny Smerker scored the tying run and the Mets added 4 more which was too much for the Diamondbacks to overcome.
