2010 PAL Adaptive Misson Statement   2010 PAL Adaptive Schedule

All games will be played on the RED, BLUE & TAN fields at the PAL Complex in Shafton!

You will receive the player's shirt and hat at uniform handout, please wear the pants and shoes you would like photos to be taken in. Also, bring any props (bat, glove, etc.) that you would like included in the photo.  Team photos will be taken before our first game!

*We will attempt to notify you by 3:00 if the game is canceled due to rain. Please check your email if it is raining!

PAL'S Adaptive Baseball League gives everyone a chance to play ball regardless of their ability or disability. The league will be non-competitive and will involve a limited time commitment and limited playing schedule.

We offer an opportunity for disabled children, ages 5-21 to participate fully in sports. For safety reasons each player is accompanied by a "buddy" who helps the athlete hit, field and run/walk/wheel the bases.

A special group of children and their families benefit from this program. More skills than baseball are learned through the experience. There is value in the therapeutic and socialization benefits of participating in sports, the strengthening of participants' self esteem, the opportunities to mainstream into other divisions of play in the future and the disciplines of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. The greatest need of these kids, like all kids, is to belong to a team and have fun.

To register, please fill out the attached Registration/Waiver form and return it by April 1st with the registration fee of $10 per child to:
